Went to see a post-peak oil localization movie show in Boulder Friday night. It was good, but a little alarmist (Jeff’s great word). Just presenting problems, no direction on solutions. But it got me thinking about the whole situation.

What size can a locally sustained society be? How big can it get? Do we have enough room for everyone to be in one?
